A mochi-making business, first-to-market in Portugal. Handcrafting the traditional Japanese dessert with the best ingredients and a very kawaii visual system, both on and off-screen.

Mochi Ato - literally the art of mochi - is a piece of Japan in Portugal, making it a novelty product that will spark curiosity and grasp the local market through a brand that is iridescent, fresh, and unrivaled in its market.

The brand had to evoke Japan, be playful, and cater to people who embrace adventure and originality. By creating a brand language similar to emoticons and personifying the product, it can easily pop up in any environment and media.

An initial order system through private messaging on social media proved to be insufficient for the demand and a smart menu in the form of a landing page had to be rolled out. Iterations are ongoing.
